Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas has unveiled a hefty lineup for its 2021 festival, with 200-plus acts including EDM heavyweights the Chainsmokers, Deadmau5 and Alison Wonderland.
The festival, set to take place Oct. 22-24 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will also feature performances from Alesso, Zhu, AC Slater, Anna Lunoe, Diplo, DJ Snake, Elephante, Louis the Child, Martin Garrix, Whethan, Tiësto, Kaskade, Kygo, Snakehips, Tokimonsta, Zedd and more.
The lineup has been anticipated since the festival, which was originally scheduled for May, was postponed to October in late April. According to Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of EDC Las Vegas‘ organizer Insomniac, the festival was postponed after Clark County passed a reopening plan requiring 60% of residents to be fully vaccinated before large-scale gatherings can take place.
Rotella revealed the lineup on Sunday night by recruiting artists playing the festival to help him put together a puzzle on Instagram. Artists received direct messages from Rotella containing a pair of names from the lineup, and they then had to work together over social media to reveal all 200-plus acts.
EDC Las Vegas is set to be one of the first major festivals to return to the U.S. following the COVID-19 pandemic. Chicago’s Lollapalooza is set to take place a bit earlier, July 29-Aug. 1, and is sure to be an informative look into festival organization post-COVID. However, Coachella has decided to forgo a 2021 festival, and will take place April 15-17 and April 22-24, 2022.
See the full EDC Las Vegas lineup below. Tickets for EDC Las Vegas go on sale June 10 at 10 a.m. PT via the festival’swebsite.
