Netflix Top 10: ‘One Piece’ Continues No. 1 Streak on English TV Chart as ‘Love at First Sight’ Leads Titles

“One Piece” continues to dominate the competition on the English-language TV chart during the Sept. 11-17 viewing window on the Netflix Top 10 chart. After recently scoring a Season 2 pickup, the show gained another 10 million total views in its second full week of availability.

In its first four days of availability, the live-action adaptation of the Japanese manga quickly sailed to the top of Netflix’s top 10 chart with 18.5 million total views. During the Aug. 28-Sept. 3 viewing window, the series reached the Top 10 in 93 countries, and debuted at No. 1 in 46 with 140.1 million hours viewed. During the Sept. 4-10 viewing window, the show raked in another 19.2 million total views and was the most-viewed title of the week. While it’s not an exact comparison (Netflix only calculated viewing hours at the time), “Cowboy Bebop” — Netflix’s 2021 live-action adaptation based on the anime series of the same name, which was canceled after one season — opened at No. 9 on 15.26 million hours viewed in its first four days of availability.

On the film side, Netflix’s latest romantic comedy starring Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy “Love at First Sight” debuted at the top of the English Films chart with 14.1 million total views, dethroning Adam Sandler’s “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah” and becoming the most-viewed title this week. The Sandler comedy earned another 4.3 million total views in its fourth week among the Top 10.

In its second week among the list of popular titles, “Virgin River” remains at No. 2 on the list with 9.6 million total views — a slight increase from the previous week’s recorded 9 million views. The show also experienced a small jump in hours viewed, increasing to 73.2 million. It continues to hold over U.K. thriller “Who is Erin Carter?” which is at No. 3 for the second consecutive week despite experiencing a significant fall in views. During the viewing window, the limited series accrued 3.8 million total views as opposed to last week’s 7.1 million views.

Season 3 of “Top Boy” landed in fourth place again in this week’s rankings. After debuting last week to 5.7 million total views, the series pulled in another 3.7 million total views in its first full week of availability.

Among the list of newcomers this week is “Selling the OC” Season 2, “Surviving Summer” Season 2, “Glow Up” Season 5, and “Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons” Season 7″ which came in at No. 5, No. 7, No. 8, and No. 9, respectively.

Elsewhere on the chart is “Spy Ops” (2.6 million total views) and “Predators” (1.7 million total views).
