UTA has added veteran executive Anna Ho Sandig as vice president in the Venture Studio department, which develops talent-founded companies.
Ho Sandig is based in Los Angeles and will report to Paul Yoo, head of UTA Venture Studio, which already counts Emma Chamberlain’s Chamberlain Coffee, Elizabeth Banks’ Archer Roose wine, Rob’s Backstage Popcorn by the Jonas Brothers and Issa Rae’s Sienna Naturals among its lineup of successful startups.
“Anna exemplifies the collaborative leadership, creative and critical thinking, and operational excellence necessary to develop premier companies for world-class talent,” said Yoo, announcing her new role. “We are privileged to have her on our team and look forward to the powerful impact she will have at UTA on behalf of our clients.”
Ho Sandig added: “UTA stands at the forefront of innovation, and I’m thrilled to embark on this journey with the agency. In an era where content and commerce are converging, the significance of developing authentic, talent-led brands becomes paramount.”
Ho Sandig boards the company after serving as COO of Go Get Em Tiger, an L.A.-based multi-unit specialty coffee brand, and as VP of strategy at the early-stage cannabis brand Sunday Goods, as well as nearly a decade of consulting to growth-stage consumer brands. Additionally, Ho Sandig was a management consultant at Bain & Company in New York, where she served clients across private equity, media and technology. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a BA from Harvard University and a professional culinary diploma from the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver and started her career on Wall Street, advising hedge fund and mutual fund investors on public equity investments.
