Netflix has renewed “The Lincoln Lawyer” for a third season which will consist of 10 episodes.
based on the fifth book in “The Lincoln Lawyer” series by Michael Connelly, “The Gods of Guilt,” Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will return as Mickey Haller. Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco) and Yaya DaCosta (Andrea Freemann) are expected to reprise their roles.

Season 2 of the Netflix procedural premiered on July 6 and was based on the fourth book in the Lincoln Lawyer series, “The Fifth Witness.” It follows Mickey Haller (Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic idealist, as he runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln and takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles. More than one month after the Season 2 premiere, the latest installment has raked in 40 million total views to date and landed on the top 10 in 81 countries.
“The audience response to the show has been so gratifying and wonderful, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to dive back into Michael Connelly’s universe and bring Mickey Haller and his world to the screen again,” said co-showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez in a statement.
In addition to Humphrey and Rodriguez, David E. Kelley, Michael Connelly, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson also serve as executive producers. “The Lincoln Lawyer” was created and developed for television by Kelley and Humphrey. A+E Studios backs the production.
