Brett Alperowitz has been promoted to executive vice president of A&R for Republic Records, as announced today by Wendy Goldstein, the label’s president of West Coast creative.
Alperowitz, who was named senior VP in 2015,maintains his role of General Manager ofCasablanca Records. He will continue to sign, develop, and cultivate talent forRepublic Recordsand simultaneously oversee the imprintCasablanca Records. He is based in theRepublic RecordsNew York headquarters.
He joined theRepublic Recordsteam in 1995 as the start-up’s third employee and signed one of 2020’s breakthrough artists, Benee, in addition to talent such asKungs, Milky Chance,Volbeat, and more over the years. Under theCasablancabanner, he has overseen the success ofFelix Jaehn, SG Lewis, Tiësto, and many other international electronic music stars.
