At school, he is not only in the gifted program but takes Chinese as his language and also was selected to participate in the prestigious school's "Future Problem Solver's" Club where his squad won State and competed in Internationals. Xander was also chosen as one of 20 out of 400 applicants in grades 5-12 in the first AZ State Student Advisory Council. He wants to study Broadcast Journalism and Political Science and his hobbies are baseball, history, and politics.
