Introduction
Born in 1962, Chicago, IL to Norman and Millicent Dachman. Norman was an aspiring actor and teacher. Millicent was a pianist and teacher. Adam began piano lessons at age 5 through the Chicago Conservatory of Music. Following through with his talent for improvisation and composition he studied with the Jazz pianist/professor Alan Swain in Evanston, IL. During his teen years, Adam showed a talent for both performance at the piano and composition. In 1980 he entered college and studied under Karen Edwards, the classical pianist. Finishing his undergraduate work in Wisconsin at Carroll College, Adam began a career as a composer in Chicago."Adameus" your personal composer--was a trade name he used in Chicago garnering attention from The Variety Club, The National Basketball Association, Oprah Winfrey and the National Football League.
