 Neely Blair is an actress, singer & performer based in Dallas, Texas. She started pursuing her passion in the performing arts in her 30s after spending the first decade of her adult life being an educator, coach, boot camp instructor and entrepreneur. She had always wanted to perform and finally took the leap by responding to a casting call for extras for a documentary-style show in Dallas. After that, she was able to get a lot of experience being on set and learning the industry from actors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She was cast in featured roles in several pilots filmed in Dallas with actors like Bellamy Young, Vanessa Williams, Anna Paquin, Penelope Ann Miller & Blair Underwood. This was enough for her to decide that performing was what she wanted to pursue as a career.She has had the opportunity to do television, film, stage & commercial work over the last few years. On television, her most notable role was on the USA Network show Queen of the South where she played one of the "Boaz Beauties", a girlfriend of the drug lord Boaz Jimenez. In film, she most recently had the opportunity to film the horror flick 13 Fanboy in New Mexico with Dee Wallace (ET, Cujo). Her favorite role to date was actually on the stage, though, as the lead role of Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical. This is where her love for singing on stage was born. She has also done national TV commercials for ABC Mouse and Kay Jewelers.Her acting career was just starting to really move in a positive direction right as the pandemic started and everything was put on hold. She had auditions for season 4 of Stranger Things and season 6 of Better Call Saul when every production across the US shut down. She has spent the last couple of years mainly honing her skills in singing, performing and learning new skills like beat-making & drumming. But...she is very excited to get back into the groove of acting!Neely is married to Russell and they have four children-Berklee, Payton, Liz & Maryn.
