Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Newman achieved the rank of Eagle Scout alongside 8 of his childhood friends during his busy high school career juggling soccer, theatre, mixed chorale, chess club, lumberjack club, and his own televised variety news show.Reluctant to grow up, Newman worked in the lucrative Oil & Gas industry while continuing to act. During weekends and using paid-time-off days, Newman would audition for projects and take modeling classes at Neal Hamil Agency. Once he landed the lead role of Dan in "Rebar," by Bilal Haider, Newman could finally scratch the performance itch, shooting a 30-minute short film in South Texas during the hot summer. The film garnered attention and impressed the judges of major film festivals like Dances With Films and the Oscar-Qualifying Festival HollyShorts.Naturally, Newman swapped the warm colored Texas sunsets for the cool sparkle of Tinseltown by purchasing a one-way ticket to Lalaland. He is now acting and producing his own projects in Los Angeles, frequently collaborating with Oleg Zayanov.Newman resides in San Pedro, CA, and goes camping as often as possible.
