Gregory Reydler was born on February 16, 1972 in Kishinev, Moldova a former republic of USSR. Gregory completed his elementary and High School education, while also pursuing a professional career as a soccer player.In 1989, together with his family, Gregory immigrated to the US and settled in Brooklyn, NY. In New York, he went to Brooklyn College to study business management but soon realized that he has no passion for that and dropped out of college. In a few years Gregory together with his family decided to move to Los Angeles,CA.While living in LA, Gregory decided to pursue a modeling career. It was a great start and it began to peak, but based on the circumstances they were to move again, this time back to NY. In New York, Gregory worked various jobs, including, waiting tables, sports company sales, mover and other.While continuing to pursue modeling and performing in New York, Gregory became involved with fashion and hair shows. Soon, he and his sister began training in NYC with acting coaches, such as, Ron Millkie, Penny Templeton and others.Shortly after, in 1999, Gregory got cast in his first film "The Taxman" where he appeared together with Michael Chiklis and Elizabeth Berkley.In 2002, Gregory wanted to get a more professional theatre education and with support from his parents he returned back and applied to GITIS (Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts) in Moscow, Russia. It is known to be one of the most prestigious theatre academies in the world. Gregory was accepted into their four year program as an international student. While studying in GITIS, in 2004 Gregory got cast in the film "Tariff on Love" where he plays the casino owner. In 2005, he played the role of the financial adviser Ilya Okunev in TV film "Planter of Sorrow"After graduating from GITIS, prior to returning back to the United States Gregory starred in numerous films and TV shows in Russia.He appeared in 7 episodes of the Russian mystery TV series "Sled" 2007-present. In 2013, he played a role of a crooked banker Grinberg in the Russian TV series "Departament" where also he performs as stuntman.After returning back to the United States, in 2015 Gregory played a role of a Russian Bratva Thug in TV Series "Deadly Devotion: Mafia Murder" In 2016,he appeared in Suddenly Rich playing the role of John.In 2017, he got cast for episodic role in "The Americans" season 7. Also in 2017, he played a lead role in a feature film "Alina", which was written, directed and produced by the legendary Ben Barenholtz, Gregory plays a villain. The premier of the film took place in Hollywood and was presented by the famous director and producer David Lynch.In 2018,Gregory plays the role of Comintern member Bolshevik Svetlov in the European TV Series "Clash of Futures". The film was created by Jan Peter and Gunnar Dedio and explores the dramatic era of the 1920s and '30s. In 2019, he was invited by the producers of the TV Series "Big Dogs" as a Consultant / Dialect Coach (Russian)Also in 2019,Gregory appeared as a bodyguard of a Russian ambassador in a feature film "Tom Clancy's Without Remorse" with Michael B. Jordan, the premier of which is expected in September of 2021 In 2020,Gregory was invited to play Gregory Ratoff in the feature film "The First Oscar" which was written and directed by the very famous Russian director Sergey Mokritskiy.Despite being cast as a villain regularly,(which is very opposite of his true character), he dreams of one day portraying a kind WW2 German general and working opposite his doppelg?nger, Javier Bardem.Today, Gregory studies with the acting coach of the stars, Gregory Berger-Sobeck (from Berg Studios) and can be found between Moscow, NY, LA and also Europe working on various projects.Although he never lost passion for soccer and followed in his father's footsteps and belongs to the NY State Soccer Referee Association.
