He has been an active filmmaker since 2008 and has worked on a number of Feature films, Short films, TV series, Animations and Documentaries which have garnered relative successes at both regional and international film festivals. He is inspired greatly by productions with rigorous planning involved, strong aesthetics and stories which derive from or delve into human connections, experiences and domestic life. In addition to filmmaking, Ashish is also known for being a well-established part of Vfx ,animation and editing studio , Maag Fx . In 2015 , Ashish debuted with his directorial short film "The Martyr" which was screened in prestigious Cannes film Festival. He founded Maag Fx, an award-winning Post production company between 2010 and 2012. The company is working and has also delivered Pre as well as Post production of large-scale Film productions and Tv series such as Broken Harmony, Children Of god, Mission made possible season 1 and season 2 for Production houses like Orient tradelink, Aum sportainment, Vega Films and for OTT ventures like Zee network, Eros international, Sony entertainment etc.
