Marjorie was the original female voice for Minnie Mouse. She joined Walt Disney's animation team as an inker, the thirteenth person to be hired, where she worked for almost 13 years before retiring to raise her two sons. She performed Minnie's voice for three cartoons, before she begged herself out of it, because she was too shy to do any more.
