Samantha Alleyne

Samantha Alleyne is best known for being the first female Stormtrooper in Star Wars. She appeared in all 5 of the Disney era Star Wars movies and has played over 15 different characters including 'Allie Samta', an X-Wing pilot, in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019). She also appeared as an Imperial Stormtrooper in several episodes of the highly acclaimed Disney+ series 'Andor'.Samantha also appeared as an Amazon in Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) and was a second unit Stand-In for Gal Gadot during production.Samantha is of Barbadian/Greek heritage. She was born in Canning Town, London. Her family moved to Plaistow, London when she was 8.After studying for a BTEC in Performing Arts at Barking College, Samantha enjoyed a successful career as a Graphic Designer in London before realising how much she missed performing.In the year 2000 Samantha moved to Hitchin in North Hertfordshire to study acting.
