Matt Edwards

Matt Edwards is a professional actor, screenwriter, and former award winning Saxophonist. He grew up in Pollock Pines, a small town in Northern California, before moving to LA to pursue a career in acting.In his early years in LA, Matt performed as a Marvel character at Disneyland and starred in numerous plays at Defiance Theater Company in North Hollywood. He received his Masters in Screenwriting at Western Colorado University, and wrote and produced a number of short films. During the pandemic, he produced and hosted a mental health podcast called "My Heroic Life," a project he created to inspire others with mental health challenges to discover their own inner superhero. He can be seen later this year in season 2 of Sacrifice, streaming on BET+/Amazon.
