In 2016, she auditioned for the part of Lyra in His Dark Materials (2019). Although she had submitted her audition tape, she didn't get a response for a while. However, while she was on vacation in Puerto Rico in 2017, she was later asked to make one more take. But before she recorded it, she decided to go swimming, and she was stung in the face by a jellyfish. She recorded her second audition tape with a swollen face. Nevertheless, that situation didn't interfere with her getting the part.She got the scar on her forehead from playing around at the age of 4. She slipped and fell against a metal bed, tore her head open and passed out.She is the daughter of British actor Will Keen and Spanish actress, theatre director, and writer Mar��a Fern��ndez Ache.A second cousin, once removed, of Jake Weber (her great-grandmother Priscilla was also Jake's grandmother.
