![]() Zach Heyde is an orchestral composer and content creator based in Pasadena, California. Recent work includes additional music for Dreamworks' "Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight", streaming July 2022 on Netflix.Since the age of 14, Zach's passion for storytelling was apparent. He spent his childhood playing piano, making home videos, and writing fiction before honing his focus towards composition. He graduated from the Hartt School of Music in 2015, after which he spent a year in his hometown in Connecticut educating aspiring musicians and composers.In the years that followed, Zach pursued an eclectic array of work--performing with various bands, creating YouTube videos, freelancing as a music copyist, all while developing his craft and portfolio as a media composer. He worked briefly as an assistant music librarian at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, where he met numerous industry professionals who would guide his career in the years to come.In 2019, Zach relocated to Pasadena, dedicating his focus fully towards media composition and educating composers on YouTube. Along with larger clients like Disney and Dreamworks, Zach works actively with Flashgitz and other independent creators on YouTube and Twitch.
