Martin Lopez

Martin Lopez's acting career is a byproduct of his life long obsession with literature. Martin fell in love with reading at an early age, and was determined to become a writer (a dream he would later realize). It was his interest in both primary historical texts as well as works of fiction that led him to study at the University of Notre Dame. He pursued two full majors, the first in Medieval Studies with a focus in chivalric romance literature, the second in English with a focus in Arthurian legend.Martin became interested in theater while studying abroad in England. He credits his Shakespeare professor from Cambridge, as well as his internship at The Globe theater with kindling his passion for acting. He has stated it was humbling being able to study theater at The Globe, not to mention the opportunity to perform a monologue on that most respected of all stages.In 2004 Martin pursued a career as a Knight at Medieval Times in Baltimore.
