Rod has a major in Media and Communication at the ITESM CCM University in Mexico City. He is a director known for "Lobos" best fiction at Ecofilmfestival 2013, "Camellos en la arena" (Camels in the sand), Shorts-Mexico and Fotogenia 2020; and "Ansiedad y Deseo" (Anxiety and desire), FICM 2021. His video installation called "Para el recuerdo" (For the Memories) is a documentary in 3 screens made for the exhibition "Hilando rituales" (Sewing Rituals) inaugurated on may 2023 at the Franz Mayer Museum in Mexico City. He recently finished the film "La voz arcana del coraz��n" (The hidden voice of the heart) , a poetic portrait of Cuba. Additionally, he has done television since 2017, some of the series he has directed are: "La venganza de las juanas" (The five juanas) Netflix 2021, "Verne: La Isla Misteriosa" (Verne, The Mysterious Island) Disney+ 2024, and "Socorro" Paramount+ 2024.
