Sanna Allsopp

Sanna Allsopp is an award winning British Barbadian filmmaker. Her film, The Moon Child, won best experimental film at the LA international short film festival (2021 ). She is known for Succession season 4 (2023), the feature Blackbird and documentary "Built to Last" which premiered at the BFI. A trained documentary filmmaker and anthropologist, Sanna began her film career at the age of 22 and is recognized for her experience in handling challenging or sensitive subjects such as her work for UNICEF, the BBC and Channel 4. She has been producing and directing award-winning campaigns in fashion and commercials over the last 10 years. Projects in development include, the Bajan detective (2023)Sanna is co -founder of Parachute Film Studios, the only film studio of its kind in the Eastern Caribbean. Still very much an anthropologist at heart, a key focus of the studio is to grow and develop talent and original content from the Caribbean.
