Peter Oberth

Peter Friedrich Oberth was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. His family then moved to Michigan in the summer of 1994. During his Freshman year in high school, Oberth launched a blog (PO Entertainment) critiquing independent music. The blog would later be renamed Hyperactive Music and finally Flick Music in 1996. During this time, the blog began to grow and gain attention of larger record labels and the blog expanded into a full website. After graduating high school, Oberth moved to Atlanta, Georgia in late 2000. Soon after, he folded Flick Music into a new editorial website, Shakefire.com consisting of music, movies, video games, books and other forms of entertainment. Shakefire officially launched on March 22, 2002.Oberth produced and directed the film short 'Stalking Rocco DeLuca' with Kiefer Sutherland in 2009.
