Introduction
John Lee Taggart is an award winning writer, director, and occasional actor from the North East of England. Probably best known for his work with a number of rare disease charities through projects such as the awareness film, Go Make Memories (Carl Mason, 2019), the animated short Invisible Manners (2021) with Billy Boyd, Isy Suttie and Weruche Opia, and the accompanying documentary series Invisible Interviews (2022-23) narrated by Sheila Reid.In 2023 he began work on A Rare Find, a comedy short on behalf of The Newborn Screening Collaborative with Robert Webb, in the hopes of raising awareness surrounding the newborn blood spot test and the need for positive change surrounding the current UK newborn screening programme.
