Nikolai Egel

Growing up in Port Adelaide, South Australia, Nikolai was influenced by his working class surroundings, learning to harness communication, comedy and altruism to navigate many situations of conflict. His speed of thought, coupled with a quick wit, forged a steely resolve in his character.He began his work in local productions, as well as work in music, which took him across to the United States, writing songs in Nashville.When he returned to the Australian shore, he landed minor roles in television series such as Romper Stomper, before he was cast in Neighbours as the luckless science teacher Marty Muggleton. He went on to reprise his role in a leading capacity in the acclaimed Neighbours spin-off series Erinsborough High.
