Andra Nechita

Andra Nechita was born in Onesti, Romania and relocated to Dublin, Ireland with her parents when she was five years old. It was not until she and her family moved to Los Angeles in 2005 that Andra showed an interest in acting. Limited by her ability to only speak fluently in Romanian and broken English in a thick Irish accent, Andra was quick to learn and within 3 months, was able to not only read and write in English, but speak fluently in an American accent.Andra began pursuing her passion for acting at various studios throughout Los Angeles, where she showed great potential. After starring in her first feature film, Bad Teacher (2011) as Gaby, alongside Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel and Justin Timberlake, Andra gained momentum, starring once again alongside Jason Segel in How I Met Your Mother (2005), as a leading role in the thriller Cats Dancing on Jupiter (2015) , and the titular role of Kara in Kara: A Star Wars Story (2016).
