Cindy had a God-given operatic voice before she was 8 years old, but raised in a strict, traditional Korean household where you are raised to obey your parents' wishes, she was forbidden to pursue music in school and, instead, she studied Speech Communications/Prelaw and received her BA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.Born in Seoul, Korea, she and her family immigrated to the United States when she was a child, and now they are all American citizens.Cindy is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.She speaks Korean and loves to sing in Korean.
