Violet Braeckman

Violet Braeckman is a Belgian actress best known for her lead roles in Assisen (Play 4, 2023), GR5 (VRT, 2020) and Over Water (Netflix, 2020).While studying at the Academy of Performing Arts in Maastricht, she showed her talent in several short movies and in some of Belgium's best known television series. After graduating she quickly emerged the Belgian acting scene by securing lead roles in (international) series GR5 (2020), F*** You Very Very Much (2021), The Window (2022) and Black-Out (2020). Together with Ramy Moharam Fouad she wrote and created a short film Shadow, till you return, that was selected for International Short Filmfestival Leuven. On stage , Violet played roles in a.o. Oedipus (2018) by Robert Icke for International Theater Amsterdam, Het Duel (2019) for The National Theater.
