Jason Weiss developed a love of theatre at a very young age. While attending Kent Place School in Summit, NJ, he participated in school productions and took to it like a duck to water. At the age of 9, Jason and his family moved to East Greenwich, RI where drama took a back seat to sports. Soccer and Lacrosse dominated his junior high school and high school years until he suffered a traumatic knee injury while in his Junior year at Moses Brown School in Providence, RI. This injury took Jason back to the stage, and renewed his passion. This led Jason to major in theatre at the University of Miami where he earned a BFA degree, and eventually went on to earn an MFA degree from the University of Florida.Jason's professional career led him to New York City where he performed in dozens of plays, films, TV shows and commercials. He has also performed at multiple regional theatres and Shakespeare festivals around the country. Jason has been a professor and guest lecturer of acting at some of the finest universities and colleges in the country.Jason now resides in Los Angeles, CA. When not busy on set or in the theatre, he enjoys all of the natural beauty and adventure that California has to offer.
