Michael M. McGuire

Michael Meher McGuire is a film producer, writer, and director. He co-produced Paul T. Goldman (2023) for Peacock, a hybrid docuseries directed by Jason Woliner. He is best known as a producer of Electrick Children (2012), Color Out of Space (2019), and Resurrection (2022).McGuire was born and raised in the Midwest. The son of an artist and a pianist-turned-physician, he graduated the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000 and earned an MFA from the American Film Institute in 2009. After graduating from AFI, McGuire has been a busy and successful filmmaker. He produced a number of independent feature films including Guadalupe the Virgin (2011) starring Diana Garcia and Noah Segan, Electrick Children (2012) with Julia Garner in her first leading role, and the coming of age dramedy, Summer of 8 (2016).
