 Mykel Hawke started his media career after serving in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He was a Medic, Communicator, Intelligence Operator & Combat Commander. He was rated in 7 Languages, Earned 2 Blackbelts and his Masters Degree.Hawke started a Medical Company providing care in War Zones and then Mykel created a Tourism business teaching outdoor skills to kids.This is where Road Rules found him at his Costa Rica school in 1998. He was asked to help the production, then to play both roles, as the good guy teacher & then the bad guy body snatcher.This positive relationship with the production crew and executives resulted in Mykel doing more media support and ultimately Hawke became a Producer for ABC when 9/11 happened.After serving 2 years on combat orders, Captain Hawke was released from duty. With the raised profile in the Media of The Green Berets AKA: The Quiet Professionals, Mykel was asked to do a number of shows as a Subject Matter Expert. Eventually, Hawke was asked to do more talent and personality based roles.After a while, Mykel was asked what shows he'd make if he had a choice and Hawke then created and produced a number of hit shows like: Man Woman Wild, One Man Army, Lost Survivors & Elite Tactical Unit.Since then, Mykel Hawke has done over 50 shows, 8 series and 1 film as well as written a dozen books and made dozens of survival products.
