He has one younger sister (?zge). Because of his father's job, ?evik's family moved a lot. They moved back to Istanbul after the 1999 Marmara earthquake.He studied philosophy at Istanbul University and radio and television at Beykent University.?zg��r ?evik was cast as the lead in the popular TV series Yabanci Damat [The Foreign Groom], in which he starred as the Greek bridegroom Niko whose Turkish bride Nazli was played by the actress Nehir Erdogam. It is first Turkish series exported to Greece. He had leading roles in period series Mazi Kalbimde Yaradir, Gece Sesleri based on novel, Balkan Dugunu, "Evlerden Biri" based on novel.He was cast in works of director- screenwriter Onur Unlu who best known for surreal cinema and series including Leyla ile Mecnun, Subat, Ben de Ozledim, Itirazim Var. He played in youth series Kirgin Cicekler. He had guest roles in hit series such as "Avrupa Yakasi", "Kavak Yelleri (Turkish remake of Dawson's Creek)", "Vali".He released his first album D��s-��n-ce in 2008.
