Peter Boone was the only child of actor, Richard Allen Boone and his third wife, Claire McAloon and is named for his great-great grandfather. He is also a direct descendant of Squire Boone, younger brother of the famous explorer, Daniel Boone.He lives in Virginia with his wife, Mary Lou. They have three children, Shaun, Kirk and Maeve Boone.
