Introduction
David Rambo is a screenwriter, producer and playwright. Raised in rural Pennsylvania, he moved to New York at 18 and studied acting while working as a bar pianist to pay bills. He acted in off-off Broadway productions and summer stock before getting a break as a star of the ABC musical-comedy pilot The Best of Times with Nicolas Cage and Crispin Glover. Aging out of teen roles, David realized that what he really wanted to do was write, and started writing plays while selling real estate to pay bills. Eventually, his play God's Man in Texas premiered at the Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville. It quickly became one of the most produced titles in the country, including a production at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles that caught the attention of William Petersen, star of the TV hit CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
