She also spent several years as a writer, producer andside-kick to Atlanta radio legend Kim Peterson in the 1990s.In 2000, Leslie co-starred in the WTBS television series "Blotter", aspoof of reality-TV police shows like "Cops".Since 1994 Leslie has produced and directed short films made by herhusband's production company Lighthog Films. Leslie's productions haveplayed in several film festivals including the Atlanta Film and VideoFestival.Leslie is married to Keith Hooker, they have two children.
