Nova Yara

Originally from New York City, Nova began her artistic career by way of her living room as a child. Putting on humorous and dramatic skits that included dance, props, portrayal of multiple characters and layered stories; Nova knew performance art would ultimately be the path she'd go down. Modeling became the first official pathway to her journey into the arts. Soon after this experience, she began formal dance training with a focus on the forms: hip-hop, belly dance and Latin ballroom. While remaining passionate for the rhythmic craft; her desire to embody characters and tell stories never left her heart. It wouldn't be long before her dancing feet led her to acting classes. Studying at various schools including HB Studios, Nova worked on the method acting, Grotowski, Stanislavski, socio-drama and improv.
