Bipin Nadkarni

Bipin Nadkarni is a celebrated film maker known for his exemplary work such as Uttarayan (2004) , Aevdhese Aabhal (2007) and Darbaan 2020.Born in August 1964, in the city of dreams, Mumbai, Bipin pursued his graduation in Arts from Mumbai's well known Elphinstone college.Later, in 1989, Bipin began his career in advertising films assisting Ram Madhvani & Sumantra Ghosal.After gaining an enriching experience, in the year 2000, Bipin started producing and directing TV commercials under the banner of Opticus films.2005 brought him nationwide recognition when he produced and directed his first Marathi feature film, Uttarayan (2004). The film won him the National Award for 'The Best Marathi Feature Film.' Uttarayan also won 'The Kodak Motion Picture Film' award in New York. The film gained fame and appreciation at several international film festivals.
