 Jamie Anne Brown was born in Parsons, Kansas. The eldest of five siblings, from a very early age, Brown dreamed of becoming an actress. Pursuing this dream, she moved to Los Angeles.One of her very first roles was a recurring part on The Shield (2002). Soon after, she made her feature film debut with a supporting role in The Notebook (2004) as "Martha Shaw". Later, known as Jamie Allman, she booked roles on top television series, including Monk (2002), Bones (2005), Saving Grace (2007), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), and The Closer (2005), among others. While she was pregnant with her twin sons Asher & Oliver she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and spent months on bed rest due to a shortened cervix before a bladder infection led to the premature delivery - the fraternal twins were admitted to the NICU 81 days premature. Asher and Oliver spent close to three months there before being discharged in late April at 8 lbs., 1 oz. and 7 lbs., 7 oz. respectively. Her third child and only daughter, June, was also born prematurely.(May 21, 2014) Gave birth to her 3rd child, a daughter June Joanne Allman, with her husband Marshall Allman.(January 31, 2013) Gave birth to twin sons (her 1st & 2nd children), Asher James Marshall & Oliver Charles Marshall, with her husband Marshall Allman. |
