Introduction
Anthony Dixon was born in Harlem, NY into a family of artists that included his Grandmother, pioneer Rhythm & Blues Songwriter and vocal coach Gladyces DeJesus and Cousin Obie Award winning writer/ director and scholar Paul Carter Harrison.While living in Brooklyn as a young adult he formed and became the bass player for the band "Universal Touch" The band obtained a deal with Inner circle records and by the early 2000s Anthony transitioned his musical talents and began working on Theater productions. Some of the plays included, NEC's the "Waiting room" Directed by Charles Weldon and "Waiting 2 end Hell" Directed by Woodie King Jr. in sound design.Anthony's path in the arts had been overshadowed by his years of commitment working in Corporate America as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for companies: Bank of America and Coca-Cola.
