Avery Tiiu Essex is an American actress born on August 27, 2011. She began her career at the age of 6 when she landed a spate of nationally aired commercials. In 2019 she appeared in a co-staring role on the hit-television show Modern Family, playing young Claire Dunphy. Her role as Ella, opposite Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried, in You Should Have Left is Avery's first appearance on the big screen. Avery enjoys story telling in all forms including writing, singing and dancing.
