Ruben Martinez has been in the entertainment business for over 10 years. He grew up in El Paso Texas and went to Bel Air High School (home of the Highlanders). He attended Baylor University where he was the very first minority drum major. He started out as a background actor and he's mostly known for being in the TV show, The Chosen. He quickly made the jump to featured and leading actor roles. He has also produced, written, and acted in the pilot episode named "Paul the Last Apostle" which started off his writing and producing career. He is developing a new episodic series called, "Still Small Voice" with other collaborators (2024/2025). He directed the movie short, produced and acted in it as well. He loves developing and writing other biblical series and modern-day comedies. He also produces TV shows and some other independent films. He takes acting classes as part of Ivana Chubbuck's Power of the Actor series to keep his acting current. He can also be seen around the DFW metroplex performing as a stand-up comedian, as well as an improv comedian in student showcases with 4 Day Weekend.
