 Born Eduardo Trucco in Queens, New York, to an Argentinian director, Orestes Trucco and Puerto Rican mother, Gladys, Ed grew up in Argentina where he played soccer throughout his childhood in hopes of becoming a professional player for Argentina. However, at the age of 8 he first appeared in "Hipolito y Evita", an Argentinian movie version of the classic "Romeo & Juliet" story and "Yo Gan�� Al Prode". Later on his family moved to Puerto Rico where Ed played appeared in the teen film "Una Aventura Llamada Menudo". Trucco also appeared in several Spanish soaps. Ed moved to NY where he became the first VJ for MTV International in NY with Daisy Fuentes.
