Diane Stilwell

Diane was born in Decatur, Illinois, and began taking dance lessons at the age of three at the Millikin School of Music (Millikin University). At 14, she appeared on a professional stage for the first time, performing in a summer stock company near Decatur, which hosted stars from Hollywood for its productions. She completed her apprenticeship there at age 16, and after finishing high school - with union cards in hand - she moved to Chicago and immediately began working non-stop in musical theatre. At 19, she again relocated, this time to New York City, and began to split her time between coasts: performing on Broadway, off-Broadway and at the Public Theatre, while also shooting studio films and nighttime television in Los Angeles. Throughout her 27-year career, she appeared constantly in national television commercials.
