Kris Murphy

Best known as "Katie Witt" on NBC's The West Wing (1999), Murphy was originally a theater actress, who transitioned into television and film. An alumna of Notre Dame University, Murphy is the daughter of a federal judge father and a schoolteacher mother. Her elder brother is a United States Attorney. Divorced in 2012 from Mark Murphy, a former unsuccessful candidate for Congress from New York City, she has two daughters from the marriage and divides her time between New York City and South Florida.
