?ke Lindman was a very skilled football player and played in the Finnish national team, he was offered a contract by the English Premier League team Swindon in the 60s but he turned it down and chose to become an actor.?ke Lindman had a promising career as a football player before he chose to quit and focus on acting. He made his film debut in 1949 in Hornankoski (1949), directed by a legendary Finnish film maker Teuvo Tulio.
