Pagan Danielle Harleman

Pagan Harleman is an award winning filmmaker and storyteller. She attended NYU Grad Film and initially focused on narrative -- working with Spike Lee, Ang Lee and Alan Rudolph -- before pivoting to documentary. She has vast experience as a show-runner managing challenging verite series that span the globe -- from Iceland to Honduras to Bangladesh and Antartica. Through her work she has collaborated with a range of award winning filmmakers including Robert Redford, Marc Levin, Sam Pollard, Murray Lerner, Martin Smith and Matt Heineman. Her series and films, including the Emmy-Award Winning and IDA-Award winning series The Trade, and the Emmy-Award winning and IDA-Award winning film The First Wave, have screened at top festivals including Sundance, Sheffield, and the New York Film Festival.
