Helen Baxendale became pregnant between seasons 4 and 5 of TV-show Friends (1994). As a result, she was unable to travel to the US to do any filming for season 5 so her only appearances were heavily swaddled in bed clothes, and she had to be written out of the series a lot earlier than was intended.She doesn't drive. Whenever a character that she plays is required to drive, the shots have to be faked with the car on a low-loader.Has a fear of flying. Although she has flown for professional purposes, she prefers to keep air travel limited. Her family only holiday in places that can be reached by car or train.She and her husband, David L.
