Tamara Asseyev enjoys the enviable position of being able to produce motion pictures that are equally successful at the box office and with the critics. NORMA RAE was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture and won two Oscars including Sally Field for Best Actress, won the Best Actress Award at Cannes, and the Christopher Award for Best Film, Screenplay and Best Director.
