Thomas Acda

Thomas Acda became popular with a large Dutch audience through his cooperation with Paul de Munnik. As Acda & De Munnik they toured for 20 years with a repertoire of their own melodious and touching songs.After they split up, Thomas branched out into various disciplines: acting in tv, film and musical, writing, and directing a tv and a feature film. His ambitions aren't limited to the Netherlands. Whenever his schedule permits it, he travels to his hide out in Los Angeles to write and record.Thomas Acda was born and raised in De Rijp, a small town in the province of North Holland. After high school he attended the Theatre Academy in Amsterdam for a while, switching soon to the Academy of Performing Arts, studying cabaret and musical. It was there where he met Paul de Munnik.
