Born and raised in Roxbury, a Boston neighborhood, by a single mom with four children, Beach was an athlete who never expected to be an actor. After performing in a few plays at Noble and Greenough School, he auditioned for, got accepted to and later graduated from the prestigious Juilliard School Of Drama in NYC. For the past forty years, Beach has worked with many acclaimed actors, producers and directors on over 70 feature films and hundreds of hours of television. He continues to love his job and is grateful to still be doing it after all these years.

Tivia: He initially auditioned to play Dr. Peter Benton in ER, a role won by old friend and Juilliard classmate, Eriq La Salle.A star running back, Beach's athletic skills led him to play football for Noble and Greenough School on scholarship. He had dreams of turning professional, but an injury permanently sidelined his hopes.Is of Cape Verdean descent.He was a candidate for the role of surgeon Dr. Benton in ER (1994). When Eriq La Salle was cast instead, Beach played the recurring role of Al Boulet.Has 8 children - 4 adult children named, Roarke, Tyler, Alex and Quincey with his first wife Tracey Beach. He also has 4 children with his wife Elisha Beach. The younger 4 are Jackson, Nolan, Ledgend and Davis.
