A race to the finish.
A video of the race between Kevin Hart and former NFL star Stevan Ridley that led to the comedian being injured and wheelchair-bound has surfaced.
In a video posted by the former running back on Instagram Friday, the “Ride Along” actor — who was wearing a white T-shirt, red pants and white sneakers — was seen racing Ridley, 34, in the middle of the street at night as a crowd watched.
As the race kicked off, Hart and the former New England Patriots star, who sported a pair of orange shorts, a white tee and white sneakers, immediately took the lead.
Halfway through the race, Hart appeared to have slowed down, seemingly hurting himself.
On Wednesday, the “Jumanji” actor, 44, took to Instagram to share that he had indeed injured himself during the sprint.
“Guys, I blew all my s–t,” he announced in an Instagram video.
“Tore my lower abdomen, my abductors are torn — I don’t even know what that is, but I tore ’em. … I can’t walk!”
Hart then panned the camera to show himself sitting in his wheelchair before blaming his loss on his age.
“I tried to jump out there and do some young stuff … and I was told to sit my ass down,” he said.
The comedian explained his injuries stemmed from a “debate” with Ridley over “who is faster.”
Hart said he challenged the retired athlete to a 40-yard dash, but things didn’t go as planned for the stand-up comedian.
“What are we competing for at this age? What am I doing?” he asked. “Why did I even race? Stupidest s–t ever! Now I can’t walk.”
Hart urged his fans over 40 to “respect their age” and not be “alarmed” if they see him cruising in his new set of wheels.
On Thursday, the dad of four gave a hilarious update on his not-so-funny injuries.
“Guys, it’s bad,” he said in an Instagram video. “It’s f–king bad. My d–k looks like a thumb. Everything’s swollen.”
The “Think Like a Man” actor added that his “balls got big as hell” and he still can’t move his legs.
Following the race, Ridley issued an apology to Hart.
“I saw [Tom Brady] do it at your age so I figured you had the juice too big bro,” he wrote on his Instagram Story Thursday.
“My bad. Heal up and keep making us all laugh.”
