What went on in the house that built her?

Miranda Lambert has been dubbed the “Grinch of country music” after a video of her popping a concertgoer’s beach ball went viral following her anti-selfie tirade.

“Miranda lambert also once popped a fan’s beach ball when she got annoyed that the crowd was having fun with it,” a fan tweeted Monday alongside the resurfaced video of the incident. “She’s like the grinch of country music.”

In the clip, the “Drunk” singer, 39, stopped performing to walk to the back of the stage and poke a hole in the beach ball as the crowd cheered.

She then grabbed the mic and shouted, “I love y’all but we’re not at the damn beach. We’re singing country music tonight!”

The unearthed video comes days after Lambert abruptly halted her Las Vegas show to publicly scold a group of fans who were taking a picture during her performance.

“I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry,” the Grammy winner said mid-show Sunday.

“These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit.”

Lambert said that she did not like their behavior “at all,” adding, “We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music.”

Adela Calin, one of the fans Lambert called out, spoke out after the incident went viral.

She NBC News Monday that she felt like she “was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit down back in my place.”

“I feel like she was determined to make us look like we were young, immature and vain,” she continued. “But we were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.”

Calin said she was “appalled” by the country songstress’ reaction, adding that the quick selfie took “30 seconds at most.”

Lambert is yet to publicly address the incident.

Instead, she took to Instagram Tuesday to remind her followers to spay and neuter their pets — which did not sit well with her fans.

“I love you but you really need to address this situation because this is not a good look. At all,” wrote one follower.

“Just moving right along like you did nothing wrong. Placing blame on the fans for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Nit [sic] taking accountability for your actions!!! You are in the wrong!!! Classic narcissist behavior,” commented another critic.

A third chimed in: “Unfollowing for the way you disrespect and humiliate your fans. It takes balls not to apologize or see a problem with your actions.”
